I am both a Licensed Real Estate Agent in Arizona, as well as a Licensed Real Estate Broker in California, both with Keller Williams. The difference is that as a Licensed Agent, I am required to work for a Broker in Arizona. As a Licensed Broker in California, I am allowed to own my own real estate office, as well as have other agents and brokers work for me, if I so desire. I do live full time in the Phoenix area, but I also spend a lot of time in California for both personal and professional reasons.
Prior to entering real estate, I was a healthcare executive. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. My career in healthcare involved many job relocations, necessitating the selling and buying of numerous homes over the years. In time, I found I enjoyed the real estate process more than my healthcare career that was necessitating my use of so many real estate professionals. Also, as a healthcare executive, I have been directly involved in very complex commercial real estate transactions, which provides me with a unique understanding of the real estate transaction process. When I entered real estate, I therefore had a lot of "in the field training" as being both a seller and buyer, as well as a tenant and landlord. With this broad personal experience in real estate, along with my professional finance background, I have a very good understanding of the real estate process. This then allows me to relate very well to both buyers, sellers, tenants, and landlords; which assists me in guiding each of them through the very complex process related to a real estate transaction.
I truly enjoy the process of working with clients who are in need of an experienced real estate professional to help them with their real estate needs. I find that because I have personally gone through the process so many times, I truly understand the emotions people experience throughout the process.
